We are very excited to share this special day with the people we love the most. It fills us with joy to celebrate our love surrounded by family and friends, and we can’t wait to live this moment together.
There are several options that can make your trip easier, depending on your place of departure.
The following options assume your arrival before the wedding day and accommodation in Gières:
You can check schedules, prices, and buy your train tickets here: www.sncf-connect.com

Transportation between the Mairie de Voiron and the Château de Venon:
We want you to enjoy the party with us to the full! We know this might be difficult if you’re the designated driver. For these cases, we have scheduled a minibus that will transport those who wish to, from the Château de Venon to their accommodation.
You can leave your car at the Château car park until sunday.
11:30 am – 3 pm at the Château de Venon (same location as the reception)
From your accommodation, you can take a taxi or Uber. You could also ask one of the guests if they can take you to the Château de Venon.
For those who will use the minibus at night, we recommend choosing accommodation in Gières, Venon or Saint-Martin d’Uriage, to make the vehicle trips easier ;) Map
Some of the available hotels include:
In Gières (near the train station):
In Saint-Martin d’Uriage (car may be required):
There are also several Airbnb options in Gières and around Venon. Here are some examples:
Another option is to sleep in a van or tent in the field in front of the Château.
We are happy to have you with us, regardless of the colors, shapes, or sizes of your formal or less formal attire. Please also keep in mind that summers in Grenoble can be hot! A large part of the event (ceremony, cocktail, brunch) will take place outdoors (grass and gravel).
The greatest gift for us will be your presence at our wedding. However, if you still wish to honour us with something, you can help us fulfil one of our dreams…

…to see the Northern Lights in Scandinavia!
We will be providing a collection box available for those who wish to help us with this project.

Thank you very much for coming and sharing this important moment with us!
Grenoble is a city of approximately 200,000 inhabitants, crossed by two rivers: the Isère (which gave the region its name) and the Drac.
Surrounded by three mountain ranges (Vercors, Chartreuse, and Belledonne), it is one of the gateways to the French Alps. It is a great starting point for mountain sports activities (hiking, climbing, skiing, cycling, etc.). The city gained international fame by hosting the 1968 Winter Olympics, making it the second French city to do so.
It is also in this city that the movie “Perfume” was filmed, based on the novel by Patrick Süskind.
A must-see in Grenoble is a visit to the Bastille, an ancient fortress overlooking the city. You can get there by taking the “bulles” (bubbles): a local cable car departing from the center of town. For the more athletic, there is a hiking path that leads to the top (with a bit of effort).
The reward: a panoramic view of the city and surrounding mountains, and you can even see the Mont Blanc if the weather is clear. A view that you can enjoy with a coffee or a beer!
